The 20th day of the month of New Year in the 721st Year of the Imperial Age

Commissar Igor Urnst announced today that in a late night efforts by the City Watch an evil fiendish creature was tracked, cornered and slain. Saving the lives of a small gathering of innocent citizens at the time.   Urns continues to explain the City Watch has been tracking this creature for a week and is believed to be responsible for multiple previous deaths, including a priest, several guards and other innocents. The creature was a type of lycanthrope and its body is being studied to be better prepared if its kind is encountered again.   Sadly a half dozen guards lost their lives battling the creature. They are to be honored as heroes and pillars of their duty. The City Watch command staff of the Farm Ward and Guild Ward is to be commended for the determination and followup in pursuing this creature and keeping the city safe.   A small number of voices say that the cities response was too slow and they only discovered the deadly creature by chance.   A member of the Church of Lothian blames the heretic Mages and their continued twisting of nature that brought this creature, previous creatures and those bound to be next into the city.   The Delvers Guild makes another public request to commission a group of Delvers to deal with unique city incursions. Urnst is quoted as saying, Delvers delve and guards guard.   The Sisterhood of Silence had no comment.
