Item Description

A hewn branch or stick treated to take and deal blows. Although any ol' stick will do, at least 1 sp of treatment is needed to prevent breakage. And infinite loops from inventories.

Despite being at least 4 ft / 1 meter long (which are totally the same length), it's called a Quarterstaff both due to the common way these battle staffs are held, but also because they are 1/4th the size of an industrial rod's length. That said, Halfstaffs don't really exist anywhere outside of this game, but you know: Big stick cool.
