Trait: Reach⚙️
Reach is a keyword that adds range to one’s melee attack range while wielding the weapon. Simple as. Great for those with the flexibility.
Trait Mechanic⚙️
Weapons with this trait increase the range in which a creature can use a Melee Attack by an amount listed in its parenthesis (usually 5ft, but can be longer). Affects Reactive Strikes / ⮌ and similar parts of the game, like imposing Disadvantage against enemies making Ranged Attacks.
Does not affect Thrown⚙️ weapons’ throwing range, but still affects such when a thrown weapon is used for a Melee Attack.
