What Others may know...
DC = 15 + TL, using an appropriate skill check.
Special: Sildar's DC can gain an optional +5, for being a venerably famous individual the party may not know.
Sildar Hallwinter is a name you've heard of amongst the local heroes of the land, but that's about it. Nothing too special, aside from something involving griffons.
Sildar is a kindhearted guy who's known for once being part of Waterdeep's griffon cavalry. He's also a known member of an organization called the Lords' Alliance, but to what extent you don't quite know.
Sildar is a man of around fifty who, at some point, served on Waterdeep's griffon cavalry. As an honored member, and even in retirement, he's found himself among the ranks of the Lords' Alliance, a special group that seeks to keep the peace between the free cities of the Sword Coast. He's a relatively good person who seeks to bring honor and glory ont he behalf of the Cities' leaders.
As a Warrior of sorts, he's quite skilled in most weaponry in comparison to others.

Sildar is a kindhearted guy who's known for once being part of Waterdeep's griffon cavalry. What he's doing out here on the Triboar Trail is a mystery.
Sildar is was an honored member of the griffon calvalry in the great city of Waterdeep, and retired before he reached fifty. He was sent from the city for something involving a town on the Triboar Trail, though he seems to have gotten waylaid. Obviously.
He's part of some group called the Lords' Alliance, who you're sure is trying to keep the peace of the land.
Sildar Hallwinter is an honored Griffon Rider that joined the Lords' Alliance before he retired. Him being out here goes to show something serious has occured or is about to.
Last you heard, he was trying to investigate the fate of another Lords' Alliance member who disappeared on the Triboar Trail some time ago. Good chance he's working with Gundren to fix the mess going on here, or is just searching for more glory.
