From the shadows of the subeterra, a large, round orb pierces through the darkness. As it lumbers closer, you see the sickly body of something that was once mortal, that is no longer. It's eye peers into you, through any veils concious or subconcious, and it grins a yellow-toothed grin in horrid delight.

    The Nothic will attack twice a turn with it's claws. It will target whatever enemy is threatening it the most, attacking it with reckless abandon.

    The Nothic targets one creature it can see within 30 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 17 Fortitude saving throw against this magic or take 16 3d10 shadow damage.
      Weird Insight : ~1 | ◈ | It's Insight vs Target's Deception
    The Nothic targets one creature it can see within 30 feet of it. The Nothic rolls it's Insight vs the targets passive Deception, or a Deception roll if the two are in combat. If the Nothic wins, it magically learns one fact or secret about the target, and their AC is reduced by 1 The target automatically wins if it is immune to being Compelled or Enthralled.
     

    -Tactics-

    The Nothic is shadow of it's former self, seeking forbidden knowledge of both the unknown worlds and the people that that may have something to hide. To this end the Nothic will often target magic users, starting with those weilding the Arcane and Occult before working their way through others. They posses no Anti-Magic abilities or spells of their own, but will still fight with magic users to the death.
