Although liquid at first, the slime-like creature glints in the light as it moves and surges. Occasionally it develops spikes or plates on it's mercurial form, before that sinks or melts, otherwise looking like a strange entity made of quicksilver.
Can also be seen as the eternal enemy to time traveling constructs.
