Index: Goblin Bandit

Humanoid | Trick-Kin

Emerging from the shadows is a small, humanoid creature dressed in light armor and pointing sharp weapons at you and yours. They make a harsh, spitting request for your valuables, and isn't taking no for an answer.
Just a little guy, trying to take your goods and services. Goblin Bandits are a common enemy that many beginner adventurers will face.

    Features

    Nimble Movement : ~0.5
Once per round, the creature can use the Disengage Action or Hide Action for 1 less ◈ (baseline, making them ◈ each), or use the Stride Action as a free action. These actions can only be done on the creature's turn.   They will usually do this at the start of the turn, unless they are trying to flee.

    Actions

    Attacks | ◈ per, up to 2 a turn
The Goblin Bandit spends actions to attack with either a scimitar or shortbow. They will often only attack in melee if an ally is closeby, and will try to move into favorable ranged position.
    Scimitar | ◈ | Melee Weapon Attack | +4 to hit | Hit: 7 ( 1d6+3 ) Slashing damage
    Shortbow | ◈ | Ranged Weapon Attack (80/320 ft) | +4 to hit / Hit: 7 ( 1d6+3 ) Piercing damage.
      Gang Up : ~0.5 | ◈◈◈ | Targets Reflex
The Goblin Bandit targets a creature it can see within 20ft, and then moves to half it's total Movement. Any Ally that has both the Humanoid and Trick-Kin traits does the same. The target of this ability must make a single Reflex saving throw (DC 12) as they are bombared with arrows, bolts, rocks, clubs, and anything else to focus their fire. On a failure, the target takes 5 ( 2d4 ) bludgeoning damage, plus 3 ( 1d4 ) for each additional participant. On a Success, the target takes half damage, and on a Critical Success, they take no damage.   The Goblin Bandit cannot use this feature again on the same target until the Bandit completes a Short or Long Rest.

    -Tactics-

They fight in the packs and do the smacks. Goblins will move around combat swiftly, using greater numbers to swarm their enemies. As they fall, or as the odds even, they will try to escape. They will usually fight to the death if they cannot.   Often, while being tracked, they will walk in single file lines to mask their numbers. Goblin Bandits regularly work with other Trick-Kin and those that understand them, including Bugbears, Satyr, and Orcs.
