Base Stats
- Age. Saurians tend to live aout as long as humans, though they grow up far quicker. They reach adulthood at around 13 years of age, more oft than not.
- Size. Many Saurians grow to be at 6' at the shortest, and can become as large as 8'' with certain reptillian phenotypes. It's not known if Saurians stop growing.
- Associated Traits. Saurian and Humanoid
- Traditional A.Boost Spread. Traditionally, Saurians are one of the few folk that start with Wisdom as a basis, and branch outward to other scores. Common choices include Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution, due to the hardiness many lizardfolk-like cultures posess.
- Language(s). Common, Draconic (+1 per your positive Cha Mod when starting the game, list here)
- Speed(s). 25 ft
- Special Senses. None
- HP (+ HP/level). 8 (+1)
Ancestry Talents
Saurian Origin |
The Saurian namesake comes from ancient scaled beasts known for their tenacity and their enduring legacy. Whether scaled or feathered, this inspiration carries into the future. Your future.
You have a Natural Weapon you are proficient in. It is a Bite that deals 1d6 +(STR or DEX) Piercing damage. They are melee weapons that are part of the Unarmed Weapon Group, and have the Agile ⚙️ and Finesse ⚙️ traits.
Additionally, you gain the Natural Armor common feature, granting you the ability to make your set your unarmored AC to 10 + 2 x Your DEX or CON + Half-Proficiency.
This Talent cannot be swapped.

Artisan Hunter |
Your culture has lent you the ability to work with what you kill easily.
You gain a Profession skill of your choice, from the original 12. Additionally, you do not need to Prepare an Area when Crafting, or use proper tools when working with Bone or Wood. Using proper tools gives you a Bonus Dice (base d4) to your crafting rolls.
At 5th character level, the bonus to crafting applies to all crafting materials, not just Bone and Wood.

You gain a Climbing and Swim speed equal to your Base Movement. What's the environment gonna do?

Heritage Choice |
You may pick a heritage. You gain everything listed from such.
Some of your talents can swapped for the ones listed below, or be taken at a later levels via
Character Progression. If your GM is using the
Classic Ancestries optional rule, you can only take the talents below as you level up, after level 1.
Furthermore, due to the nature of Saurian, they can gain talents from available to other Ancestries who count as 'Lizardfolk' or 'Scalefolk'. Those talents will be listed underneath their unique talents for each section below.

Draconic is a base language for Saurians on many worlds due to their proximity to, and deification of,
Dragons. Due to the ancient nature of Dragons across universes, most Saurian cultures adopt such as their own.
