History

The Strangers

The Strangers recovered the book from Nol Thraskus in Primon, TA 3187.
On the pedestal was a book. All around the room were murals of battles. There was a huge, wingless, red dragon with many smaller, winged ones around it. Baugoth was also pictured. There were elves and dwarves, and one elf with only one hand. Derek Evenstone was also there. One of the other murals was what may have been Aqaa. There was a carving with an image on it. The image was the same as the medallion that Stergen and Francis got from Jaerm’n. We put the medallion in the carving, and the magic field disappeared. Stergen took the book, and gave it to Francis.

Legacy

The book details the history of the Rod of Seven Parts. After the rod was shattered, only one piece remained (the First Part). The rest were scattered to unknown locations. The First Part was held in reverence by the Aqaans, until it was stolen. Later rumors and theories of the Part's location were appended to the book over the ages.   In the Third Age, the Strangers obtained the book, which successfully led them to the First Part.
