Created in the First Age as a weapon to defeat Baugoth.

• Built by Galdor Inglorion.
• Attuned to Baugoth with the Iron Crown.
• Wielded unsuccessfully against the Dark God and was lost. Wielded by TBD, who fell in battle with the dark god and lost the Rod.

Many years later...

• Aqaar quested for the Rod and recovered it.
• He returned it to the Elves.
• Wielded by Fingorathar but he was defeated by Baugoth and both he and the rod were taken to Danith Or.
