Paganism within Your Inner Child

Religion

: The belief in and worship of one or more gods, or any such system of belief and worship. It could also be an institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices or a personal set of beliefs.
Paganism is the belief system which allows people to believe in multiple deities (or none) and the belief that everything has a spirit and a name and it often sees nature as sacred and interconnected. The Circle of Life is deeply respected. Pagans, those who celebrate paganism, may engage in various rituals. These could include honoring deities, observing seasonal changes, celebrating rites of passage, and practicing magic or divination as well as plenty of others.

Wheel of the Year

The Wheel of the Year AKA The Pagan Calendar is a religious tradition that Pagans use to track their eight seasonal festivals. It combines the four solar events ("quarter days") marked by many European peoples with the four seasonal festivals ("cross-quarter days") celebrated by Insular Celtic peoples. These eight points mark the changing seasons and significant points in the solar calendar.   The calendar is structured around the year’s major solar milestones.   The calendar marks the year with solstices and equinoxes along with intermediate points that divide each major solar event.   Nature’s rhythmic energy changes with eight critical dates that mark each season's transitions. This rhythm shapes the spiritual cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, representing the continuous flow of energy.   Every single one of these days holds the title of Sabbat. Each Sabbat celebrates distinct traditions and rituals that hold symbolic value and connections to specific deities or spiritual teachings.   Pagans use the Wheel to connect with nature and honor life.

Paganism Beliefs

Magic as Extra-Depth/Belief and Gods

As far as magic is concerned, these people believe it exists.   People believe that the fabric of the universe is created or stabilized by what people in it believe.   All metaphysical beings (all gods are real; those of Ancient Power are real as well even if they haven’t physically shown up). These people believe Love, Hope, and Goodness will reign over The Dark Magic's Spirit .   These people also believe that Ancient Power was created by Gods, specifically gods of magic who created this magic system and who they believe exist as real beings.   They believe that The Spirit of Ancient Power is the spiritual sub-consciousness of Humans believing in Ancient Power and most holiday spirits are sub-spirits of this one.   They believe that all enchanted entities have a sub-consciousness courtesy of the Human Collective Consciousness (HCC), acting as energies that interact with mortals/humans and supernatural beings. None of them are conscious self-aware yet.

Ley Lines

All followers believe that Ley Lines exist. They also believe early Human civilizations and possibly even more earlier settlements were somehow more attuned than we are to these power lines.   The lines run through the landscape and early peoples built their monuments directly on top of these sacred pathways. And they believe that these lines were once filled with power, now only dormant.

Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis or simply the Aurorae

The followers believe the lights are sisters, metaphysical manifestations and each a queen of their own “realm”. The followers believe the brightness reflected the connection between Humans and the environment and magic. With the lights still seen but not as bright, this only reflects this belief.

Guardians as Mystical Beings and Leaders

While the Guardians are not worshipped, people believe in protector beings who protect the hopes and dreams of children and bring joy to the world. These beings also protect the Light Side.
