Tattoo of Stasis
There are several choices one can make when close to death. To find a Vampire and beg to be changed, to die a peaceful death, to die in the midst of battle, or to be on the receiving end of a tattoo of stasis. The worst I've heard is the Tattoo of Stasis. Why you may be wondering? Well it's because it doesn't actually kill you.
The Tattoo of Stasis is illegal in almost every part of Milleadh. The tattoo renders the victim in a state of almost death, slowing their heart enough to just keep them alive. This state makes it possible for the wielder to do whatever is desired to the victim, including illegal experiments.
It is through the use of these tattoos that beings like Simic Hybrids are becoming more prevailant.
Location
On individuals discovered to have this tattoo, it is often found on the arm, which makes it easy to affect a victim.
How it Works
Once the perpetrator touches a victim of their choosing, the effects begin within a couple minutes. The victim becomes lethargic, speech slured and begins to have difficulty breating. With in five minutes of being touched, the victim seems dead to those without decent medical knowledge.
