Brief Overview

Lumina is the goddess of light and the oldest of 3 sisters. Lumina herself was born alone, however, her sisters, Stellae and Time were born simultaneously. Though they keep in contact, Lumina is rarely seen with her sisters and is more often than not traveling throughout the universe spreading her light as far as it will reach.

General Overview

Her main objective is to travel through space and time to bring light to new stars. As she's always somewhere random in the The Cosmos, Lumina is a fairly difficult goddess to reach, however, it is rumored that if you pray hard enough she will hear you no matter the distance.

"We must find the light within, despite the hardships that it brings. We fulfill our personal goals, and in turn, it warms our souls."

The passage above is a common quote stated by members of the Illuminated, those who worship Lumina and her ideals. She believes in one good turn of kindness and will deem kind creatures worthy of her praise.

Holy Books & Codes

Illumination - A scroll dedicated to informing the masses of Lumina, her faith, and her tenets. The original was done during the War of Gods, but it has been rewritten several times throughout the centuries in order to update it with any new information pertaining to their goddess..
The Auroran Dancers - A scroll dedicated to the lovely auroran dancer, said to only be chose by Lumina after reaching the status of truly enlightened. It is said that those worthy are whisked away to dance across the northern lights and display their beauty for all to see.
Where has the Light Gone? - This scroll was created by a extremist who tried to map Luminas movement through the stars. His detail while she traced through Totus Stellae was impeccable, however, once she left the solar system he lost track of her.

Tenets of Faith

She has five clear tenets of faith, as stated below;

1. Find the light within yourself and when possible, help others to find theirs.
2. Fulfil the personal goals of yourself and others.
3. Fight, but only when to defend yourself or those unable.
4. Forget the grievances that shackle your fulfillment
5. Forgive what has hurt us, that we may move forward

Also known as the five "F" philosophy, it was shortened throughout the years into a short-hand phrase that is used when an Illuminated is feeling fearful or concerned. It is spoken as follows;

"Find, Fulfill, Fight, Forget, Forgive."

Body Features

In her mortal form she appears as a poor elderly woman with greyish-white hair and an obvious slouch. She will generally act frail and as if she were struggling. If someone happens to help her along her way she will return the favor by sparking the light within her kind stranger.

Luminas true form consists of a large cloud of solar particles molded into a humanoid shape. At the center of her chest there is a compressed blue star rotating a similar speed as a heart would beat. When she enters certain atmospheres, she appears to look like the northern lights.

Facial Features

In her mortal form she has a thin facial structure framed by her long hair and thin, pursed lips. Her complexion is incredibly pale, and she has a large beauty mark on the side of her cheek. Most of the time her eyes glow either green or blue, and she is missing most of her teeth.


Lumina's true form has a soft facial structure. She has plump, heart shaped lips that are almost always curled into a smile. The most notable feature, however, are her glowing white eyes... A clear sign that the first light is still shining within her.

Physical quirks

In her true form, the blue star at her center will turn red and swell when she is angry.

Special abilities

Lumina can harness not only the power of light, but she also reigns over several smaller domains that most mortals are unaware of. Her known abilities are as follows;

• Travel at light speeds
• Manipulate the visual perception of who she chooses
• Modify the color of things
• Turn invisible

But because of her familial ties she is also capable of things like;

• Harnessing the power of solar rays
• Resisting and manipulating many forms of radiation

And sharing lesser versions of these abilities with her most devout.
These are all things she has been seen doing historically, but no one knows the full extent of her power.

Specialized Equipment

What she likes to call her "Pocket full of Sonshine," No matter where she is or what form she dawns she can grip at any point on her body and tear open a small pocket. When this happens, she releases the light of 1000 stars. The name is derived from the first star to be gifted with her light, Son, The star of Totus Stellae. This is the single thing in the universe that can combat Absolum's abyssal darkness in full.

Personal history

"He met with his child, the first of his daughters. He our holy father, and on that day he said; "I wish to see you," for he had eyes, yet he could not see. As he willed it, it was done. A massive explosion of brilliant light cascaded through the cosmos. It threw everything from our futures into our present in a dizzying array of new colors and comets carrying compacted forms of old elements made anew. Energy recycled... This was the day I came to be."


"Our father told me my personal goal was to travel through the cosmos, kissing each star so that they may be granted my love and light. I could have denied him this task, however, he was right. I was born to dance among the stars. I gift to them my love and they help me share my light with all worlds within our reaches."

These are both statements made by Lumina herself during the War of Gods, however, whenever she is asked to elaborate about who she referred to as "our holy father," she refuses and instead offers to share Chocotet grown from her friends garden.
Not much else is known of Lumina historically as despite the fact she is fairly fourth coming when addressed, she is often off wandering among the stars.
