Black Bear Ridge is a mountain ridge in the cold south region of Ursur that resembles a great bear when the snow melts. The roaring winds are so bitterly cold that they bite through to the bone. Local legends fortell that when the Great Bear of Ursur shrugs every flake of snow from his coat, he must be suitably fed, or else he will sate his apetite on the settlements that dwell at the foot of the mountains.

Despite the name, it's unlikely you will see any black bears in this region. You are more likely to encounter frost white Auric bears, which are much larger.
