The Acio Caverns are the deepest and darkest of the extensive cave network that lies under the
Federation Capital Planet of
Anfieden, specifically the city of
Anfedaien.
Anfieden is well renowned for it's cave systems, and many have never been fully explored. They were once home to the
Arog, a powerful species made by
Humans, that went horribly, horribly wrong. It took centuries long extinction campaigns for the Arogs to finally be declared extinct from the
Galaxy of Astraesto. With one of the final battles being held in the Acio Caverns in one of its deepest roots.
Since those days, many myths and legends have popped up around the Federation, and the Arog are still used as a way to scare children. The
Myth of the Lone Arog is one such legend, and it specifically refers to a lost arog that remains deep underground, far from the clutching grip of Humanity. Many report hearing sounds coming from the caverns, but they are always ignored, their source may never be truely known.
