Wordler 408 received her designation by a mysterious blue paper she found on the morning of Day 408. The note read, “Do whatever it takes, Wordler 408. You have until sundown.”
As with most post-NIGHTfall designees, she continues to use her given name, which is Belinda, but she can also be referred to as Wordler 408 or as the Wordler of QUART.
Belinda’s portrait does not include the vampire fangs she acquires during a transformation that takes place on Day 408, directly after the events of her Wordler Vignette.
Canonical Story
Pre-Designation
A pre-designation Belinda, in happier pre-NIGHTfall times, appears in the Day 375 vignette as the wife of Joe, who is about to become that day’s Wordler. Although Joe would succeed in his quest, he would later be among the casualties of the NIGHTfall Incident.

On her day as designated Wordler, Belinda became a vampire by choice, out of a desperate need to save her son, Timmy.

Subsequent Vignettes
While still mourning the death of her husband during the NIGHTfall Incident, Belinda finds herself becoming close to a fellow refugee, Victor, who receives his own Wordler designation on Day 409.
Belinda uses her new vampire powers to help others, flying across the border to secure supplies for the refugee camp until her capture by the armed forces of Del Fenwick and their leader, Captain Glover.

No known WORDLERplex stories featuring Belinda have yet been released by the Co-Authors of the Wordler Village Community.
Writing Tips
Belinda’s canonical story only scratches the surface of her character journey. Her vampiric transformation takes place “off-screen” in a Vampire HQ within the camp that remains undescribed and undeveloped.
More story potential can be explored by stacking the rights granted by the QUART Token with the days, locations, and characters unlocked by other tokens in the series.
Licensure Status
IP rights to Wordler 408 were licensed on December 7, 2022 under the
Token-Mediated Co-Author License (ToMCAL) along with the midnight-to-midnight timeframe of Day 408 and the Vampire HQ location within the Villager refugee camp at the REALM’s border with the Regency of Del Fenwick.
Rights to each Wordler in the NIGHTfall storyline also include a license to tell a flashback story set during the events of NIGHTfall which, for Belinda, has never yet been told.
