Dame Stonemaker

Group Commander of the Wooden Shields, Dame Stonemaker is an honorary Baroness who was given her title when she protected members of the royal family against a creature attack, when security failed to detect a predator in time. As the royal family insisted on keeping the details a secret, we have not dug further into this.   Dame Stonemaker is one of the many children of the Elven Earl Woodwin, who acknowledges his children but only provides them with limited resources. She insisted on learning the blade and soon joined the Wooden Shields. Her martial prowess let her climb the ranks fast, getting her promoted to Group Commander at age 34.   As an honorary noble, Dame Stonemaker gets looked down upon by part of nobility. Others acknowledge that an earned rank, however low, is at least as impressive as one proving themselves to be a worthy heir. It is said some nobles are simply jealous due to her connections to members of the royal family. Her group is often called upon by the royal family to guarantee the safety of their travels.

Skills

Physical
Dame Stonemaker focuses on wielding a Tower Shield and an Elven Scimitar in combat. She uses the shield to great effect when charging, protecting herself and her mount while engaging her opponents. This lets others attack from safety with polearms. She uses special leaf-woven armour, which is made by Elven woodsmiths.   While not of great strength, Dame Stonemaker has a fighting style focused on her dexterity. She uses her shield to obstruct enemies while flitting about, wielding only weapons suiting her physical build. She is extremely skilled with a bow, but prefers the frontline.
Mental
If there is any aspect of her personality that can be a flaw, it would be her protectiveness. She will lead the charge and take the focus of any creature she faces, which occasionally clashes with her style of moving around the battlefield. Though technically a flaw, it does encourage her subordinates' morale.   Dame Stonemaker cares for the people and will never abandon her wards. She is the last to retreat, making sure everyone else stays safe. She cares not for ranks, only having accepted the position of Group Commander so that she could better keep others safe.
