The ever-changing multicolored sands of the Shifting Pass stretch out in rolling dunes, punctuated by sunbleached, rocky outcrops and the occasional burrow. Mountains loom on every side. Sandstorms and hurricanes charged with amethyst lightning roll down from the Crystal Desert, battering any travelers brave enough - or foolish enough - to pass this way.
