Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Qalimat al-Tanuor is the name of the isle where Qalimat Sarenray is inhabiting as the city-island.

Geography

The island is an island of diverse landscapes and climates. The island spans a vast area of verdant jungles, lush river valleys, and towering mountains, all shaped by ancient magical forces. Central to the island's geography is The River Tanin, a powerful waterway believed to have been blessed by ancient elemental forces.

History

Qalimat al-Tanuor was once an island of incredible natural beauty and power, long known as a realm of elemental wonder. It was initially claimed by powerful beings who sought to harness the magic of the land for their own purposes. In its ancient past, the island was a key stronghold for those seeking to control elemental energies. This history was heavily influenced by the forces of the Arqmati Pantheon, with the island's deep connection to these dark gods being recognized by many.

The Old Ansko Empire

Qalimat al-Tanour was once part of the Old Ansko Empire. After the dissolution of the empire, the island saw conflict between various powers, including the The Sultans of Buqmat and The Grand Empire of Arkolion, both vying for control of its powerful, mystical properties.

The Arrival of the Nars Duchies

As the conflicts surrounding the island intensified, the Nars Duchies saw an opportunity to manipulate the situation. Using their secretive influence and subtle machinations, they gradually infiltrated the governing structures of Al-Jamansi Sultanate, cementing their control. These figures remained hidden within the island's ruling elite, careful not to reveal the full extent of their power, even to their supposed allies in Buqmat.
