Ezorumneh, formerly (prior to the 10th-11th century AB) Azolnasmir, is a silver dragoness that serves the Dark Lord of Gontal. She is the Dark Lord's prime consort and the sole individual in Gontal who is given absolute freedom in their actions. She is considered to be his most dangerous servant.

Personal history

Azolnasmir was one of the founding members of the Ironscale Conclave, and was known for her wisdom, benevolence, and cordiality. Her duchy, despite being a border duchy, was known for its prosperity due to her efficiency in managing her economy and resources. The duchy's loyalty to the Kingdom of Arasil was unquestioned, though Azolnasmir herself was a vocal critic of the conclave's passive attitute in managing the kingdom.   In the early 10th century AB, Azolnasmir's territory began ovelapping with that of the red great wyrm Ertekis. The Ironscale Conclave, not willing to expose themselves, refused to fight him, and advised Azolnasmir to cede her territory. Though Azolnasmir ceded her territory, she refused to let such a threat grow on her border, and was appalled by the notion of abandoning the Arasilisch kingdoms of Gremsurden and Noorkivheid. She effectively withdrew from the conclave, and formulated a plan of attack on Ertekis's lair after consulting with the Order of the Copper Dragon. The plan was a success, and in an act that many perceive to mark her future actions, she claimed the red dragon's lair and territory as her own.   It is unknown when Azolnasmir contacted AilĂ©no and how. In 1011, with the Resurgence of Gontal, she was seen in her human form standing by the Dark Lord's side when he crowned himself as the ruler of Dunklandervon, and greeted him and his celestials in her true form.   Ezorumneh is directly responsible for many of the atrocities committed during the conquest of Noorkivheid, including massacres, rapes, and torture. She oversaw and participated in the brutal murder of the royal House of Nevensel; she used telekinesis to lift the queen some 1,000 ft. in the air, and let her plummet to her death in front of the king and princes, and then had the Brecherriesen tear the princes apart, limb by limb; finally, she disembowled the king, and mutilated his corpse by repeatedly bashing his dead body with his crown, making him unrecognizable. The mangled remains of the royal family are magically preserved, and are still on display atop the palace's gate.

Contacts & Relations

Ezorumneh is the prime consort of the Dark Lord, a title she guards jealously. She constantly belittles, degrades, and abuses other consorts. When Abscherr Messerklinge, leader of the Schattenarmee, tried to arrange the marriage of Cassina Madero and the Dark Lord, Ezorumneh attacked Sophia-Hold and decimated the guards; she then devoured the librarian whole, flew back to Gontal, and spat her uterus in front of Abscherr, much to the Dark Lord's dismay. This is the only known instance where she was at odds with the Dark Lord.
Undermine me again, Abscherr, and you will join the other king.

Following this attack, the defenses of Sophia-Hold are relegated to The Lone Guardian.

Hoard

Ezorumneh's hoard is legendary, generally considered to be the vastest in modern history. It includes her own hoard, Ertekis's hoard, the treasury of Noorkivheid, hundreds of magic items, several relics of historic significance, curated artworks, and even a few artifacts. Noteworthy objects include:
The First Coin
A massive gold coin, the first to be minted by the Menedynn Empire, it replicates the effect of dragons have on treasure, only for coins. This artifact was gifted to her by Elrion.
The Regalia of Noorkivheid
The crown, scepter, sword, and pendant worn by the kings of Noorkivheid. Looted by Ezorumneh during the kingdom's conquest.
Tapestry of Timeless Weave
A unique magical artwork, this artifact depicts historical events as they occur. Despite the strategic advantage it provides, it was gifted to Azolnasmir by king Danchmer of Noorkivheid following the defeat of Ertekis. It is believed to have depicted her corruption, the reemergence of Gontal, and the betrayal of Gremsurden.
Tronatarn's Heart
This meteorite, the remains of a Stellar Giant, is believed to be able to channel vast amounts of Primal Magic. Originally the centerpiece of Ertekis's hoard.
