Gorgeth is a subterranean land of dark deeds, foul creatures, and depraved organizations. Fed by the oceans above Gorgeth is mainly comprised of dark tunnels, twisting caverns, and a massive underground ocean known simply as “The Depths”. Hidden so successfully from the sun's warmth, the inhabitants of the underworld embrace the darkness and to an almost reverence quality. Organized into territories known as “Caverns” Gorgeth is ran by a nation of unified Guilds known simply as the Coalition. Wealth has erased morality from almost all social aspects of the Gorgethian worldview. With merchant-guilds running nearly every aspect of Cavern life gold has become a substitute for morality. Alongside the Coalition are numerous City-States striving to get by without relying on the support of the Guilds. Those that live within Gorgeth often have a growing hatred for those above, even creating the derogatory term, Sunkissers, believing them either too weak or too soft to survive in the real world. This hatred is only curbed by the need for goods imported from the overworld.
