Yamaoka Naoko

The next member was a Japanese national, Yamaoka Naoko, who decided to take the fight to their enemy. Residing in Ireland, an estate was built to act as a sanctuary for the organization. This sanctuary ended up inspiring the estate used by the cabal. From here, the movement could operate in relative secrecy and safety, and would undergo various guerrilla operations across the world.   The enormous amount of brutality used by the movement during this time became a defining trait for other organizations that are now found in the web. The movement's historical records even acknowledge this, referring to the 70 years of Naoko’s leadership as The Red Years, and the operations conducted as Scarlet Ops. Bodies were often mutilated and displayed as a warning to those who were next on their list.   The most painful details were, thankfully, omitted from the historical records. Torture, both mundane and arcane in nature, were common place, but these medieval methods died with their progenitor. Naoko died at the hands of a rival cult in 1740.
