Richard Dalreme VII

The Advisor and regent to the thone of Ruben, Alfonso Blackwood, has tried to reign the Prince in many a time, although in such a way one would wonder if he truly plans for the Prince to take the throne.
Behind the laid-back veneer, however, is a kind and valiant man who only wishes to see the best done for his people. That's why his 'hunting parties' are forays for the Rod Braende, a band of loyal friends who travel putting right was the Advisor has done in the name of advancing the kingdom's conquest of their neighbor Lazuli.
Timothy Dalreme IX
Studious Prince and heir to the lost throne of Dalreme, Timothy Dalreme IX is rarely found in the stone villa inherited from his mother. Not that the Regent and former court jester Fitzroy ever notices; he believes the young prince to be prepetually shut up in his private study. Fitzroy instead turns his attention towards the running of the kingdom; one he thinks would suceed best in his own hands.
Timothy allows the illusion that he is a shut-in; it makes his true work as the assistant to the Prime Mininister of Lazuli's parliament that much easier to conceal. Nothing happens in Lazuli that Timothy does not know about, and his quiet reccomendations and tutelage under the various parliament members have prepared him for the day he can truly take the throne.

Lord Regent Alfonso Blackwood
Former royal advisor to King Ruben, Blackwood was the man who pulled a newborn Richard from the ruins of Dalreme Castle. Rallying the western half of Dalreme, he quickly restored order and brought the might of the coalesced military to bear against Regent Fitzroy. Both sides fought for six months, until it became apparent that the ramifications of the Night of Falling Crowns would be far more calamitous than had first been anticipated.
Twenty years later, Blackwood is determined to re-ignite the war with Lazuli, but in order to justify it he needs to prove that Richard is the true heir.
Commandant Regent Fandaniel Fitzroy
Former court jester to Queen Lazuli, Fitzroy was the man who pulled a newborn Timothy from the ruins of Dalreme Castle. Rallying the eastern half of Dalreme, he quickly coalesced the confused market systems and went to war against Regent Blackwood. Both sides fought for six months, until the ramifications of the Night of Falling Crowns caused both sides to call a cold war in the interest of outright surviving the economic fallout.
Twenty years later, Fitzroy is determined to crush his opponent once and for all and prove he is more than a 'joke.' However, in order to justify re-starting the war he needs to prove that Timothy is the true heir to the throne.
