Class

Acolyte

Acolytes live in service to a deity, or a being of similar power, giving faith or otherwise for their abilities. They can be members of celestial religions, demonic or infernal cults, or simply individuals who bargained or struck a deal for power from a higher being.

Fighter

Fighters are the soldiers, gladiators, and tavern brawlers of the world. They have a minimal connection to magic, preferring instead to use their weapons, or their fists. Some fighters train specifically to counter magic, while others learn to weave spells in with their swings.

Guardian

Guardians are strong and steady friends of nature, and their closeness to flora and fauna is where they draw their power. Guardians have learned to harness different aspects of nature to their advantage, using the environment to get the upper hand in a fight.

Mage

Mages are scholars of the arcane world. A mage is studied in manipulating the Weave, rather than relying on instinct or others to perform magical feats. Mages often learn their magic from schools or other institutions of magic. Mages often have connections to the scholarly world.

Scoundrel

Where many tricksters, criminals, and outlaws prefer to work alone, scoundrels are those who prefer to be part of a team. A scoundrel is an expert in their own set of skills - whether that be their connections, propensity for conversation, nimble hands, or good old-fashioned stabbing.

Witch

Witches are those who have learned to form bonds with the supernatural. They do this by joining a coven, an otherworldly bond between witches that grant them collective power. Most witches have only met one other member of their coven, the one who recruited them.

Profession

Adventurer

You are an adventurer, making a living doing odd jobs and quests picked up from whoever is offering. If you are a member of a guild, an adventuring party, or both, this can be a very profitable profession - though that is largely due to the deadly nature of most quests that adventurers are sent on.

Entertainer

You are an entertainer, using your skills to put on a show for others. There are many types of performers, such as singers, storytellers, dancers, etc. You know how to act in front of a crowd, how to captivate audiences.

Noble

You were born in high society, of greater standing than most of the citizens of your nation. You are used to a cushioned lifestyle, servants tending to your every whim, but with high expectations of conduct and etiquette.

Priest

You are a priest, devoting your life to your faith. You may be tolerant or even open towards others who don't share your beliefs, or you may look down on them. Others in your faith may go out of their way to help you.

Runesmith

You study the art of runework, a form of magic that inscribes spells into objects and surfaces, no longer requiring the expense of magical energy in order to harness their power. With this skillset, you have learned how to create wards and craft magical items.

Scholar

You are a scholar, living your life in the pursuit of knowledge and the in-depth study of topics that pique your interest. You may collect ancient tomes, teach at a university, or travel to dangerous locations seeking previously unknown information.

Soldier

You are a soldier, serving either in a formal military, a militia, or even rebel forces. You are skilled in combat and tactics, and are no stranger to orders and heirarchy. Your position and uniform grant you respect from others in your organisation, though may also give you enemies from opposing forces.

Criminal

You make your living breaking the law. You may be a loner, a member of a crew, or even part of a local thieves' guild. Regardless, you spend your life laying low, hiding from the eyes of guards and do-gooders.

Traveller

You are a traveller, never staying in one place for very long. You spend most of your time away from home - if you have one - instead choosing to explore distant and often dangerous lands.
