Marchépave

A neutral town that also acts as a big market and harbour.
Numerous merchants offer regular and rare goods, often grossly overpriced. These merchants are mostly permanent citizens, although there are also many that only reside temporarily. The rest of the population is made up of mechanics, a militia, and innkeepers.
Marchépave doesn't have any refineries or factories - all supplies are acquired through import.
Vehicles travelling from the known world to the unknown lands beyond the South and vice versa frequent it. A handful of ships dock here to transport the travellers and freight. They charge high prices for their services, thus only wealthy vehicles can afford crossing over.
Its counterpart is a fortress known as The Fuel Bar.

Government

There are no actual governmental structures in place, but a militia keeps troublemakers in check.
