Dukedom of Kosgren
The Dukedom of Kosgren lies in the northeast of the Kingdom of Wolfsbrunn Encompassing the lands north of the Rovnestyl River and east of the Antler fjord. Kosgren is the land where the verdant forests of Wolfsbrunn flow into the northern tundras of Kordaasi The northern regions, closer to the Boreal Sea, are characterized by tundra, where the vegetation is sparse and the ground often frozen. Southward and closer to the mountains, the land transitions into more hospitable pinetree forests before turning into the mountainous lands of the Thelian Mountains to the east.
The seat of power in this region is Ravenmar, a city renowned for its strategic importance and historical significance in the protection of the kingdom from Kordaasiz invasions. Governed by the Duke of Ravenmar from within Thornspire Castle. The Thelian Mountains serve as a border with the deserts of Kordaasi, but the absence of a defined border means that the Dukedom's martial forces play a crucial role in securing and patrolling the area, ensuring the safety and stability of Kosgren and thus the entire kingdom.
In addition to Ravenmar, the Dukedom of Kosgren is home to other notable settlements. The town of Wadfeld, situated south of Ravenmar in the forests, is known for its temple and monastary of Thodir. The harbor town of Asdoren, serves as a vital maritime gateway for the dukedom, its docks often visited by ships bearing goods from Rornach, Altenport and Thog'Naldar.
