Clarice des Chenes, informally known as Madame Mumbles, is a human underworld figure in Bailymena, Skodia. She was part of the first incarnation of The Copperpennies crew, along with Etienne dArabet and remained part of it into Sam Southwind's tenure as leader of the crew. After her mentor Thrasher was assassinated in 1021, Clarice assumed control of his organization as interim leader, then consolidated her position until it became official in the Guild Charters.
