The Forest Bears

Located in the Chentrie Darkwood, the Forest Bears are led by the orc bandit-duke Gragnazorn. They prey primarily on travellers, but will at times raid the nearby town of Endelmarch. The Forest Bears are typically brutal, but are willing to see sense, as they say, and bargain. A lasting relationship is a good one, Gragnazorn believes. The Forest Bears make their headquarters in Fort Alfein, and while they are certainly a nuisance, they have made the Darkwood a safer place to traverse by killing many predatory creatures for sport and boasting rights.

Structure

The Bears have a loose structure, with one leader leading, and the remainder of the group forming a hierarchy through length of membership and ability. There are no particular titles for the Bears, but members tend to call each other brothers. A few more inventive members term the newer members 'Cubs'.
