Animals ask no questions, pass no criticism, their bodies speak their languages without words, and their love is real and lasting.
Year 568, era of the Movement
Not all things that move are fauna, not all things that grow are fauna, so what really makes fauna be fauna? In order to distinguish them from other living things, there are some points they have to follow. The living thing has to fit in all of them to be considered fauna, as individual points can be found in non-living things and some are also accomplished by flora or others.
The living thing must be born, must grow, and must die.
The living thing must be able to bleed when wounded.
They must be able to move and not be stationary
They can comunicate with environment and other creatures.
They have to be able to reproduce with their similars.
They must need to get energy from foods and drinking.
They have to sense their surroundings, know what is happening.
Stars and The Giants look like some fauna (thus why The Giants are named like animals) but are not considered part of the fauna. The Giants have never been seen bleeding and they have never been seen growing, dying or being born. They do not seem to need being feed, although some consider that when they "hug" The Creator, they are getting feed. Stars on the other side are known to be able to die and bleed. But they barely fit any other point.
