Meeraz's Starfaded
Year 568, era of the Movement
I go back to the bar top with an empty —yet wet from beer— tray and sat on a stool with a sigh. Azura let's go a soft chuckle while looking at me and moves a glass of water in front of me. "It surprised me that you decided to stay here instead of going with your sister and the crocodiles." she mentions as she grabbed an empty glass and starts cleaning it.
"Well... I rather be a bartender here than all the adventuring my sister wants to do." I drink the water and play with the empty glass while feeling Azura's curious staring. "Then why coming all the way up here with her? It seems like nothing is..." Azura's attention is caught by a patron asking for another round and she starts preparing it, "Nothing in here seems to be interesting for you. I'll be back in a second, think on the answer" she winked, took the tray I still had and left with it filled with beers.
I sighed and went around the bar and refilled my glass with more water. Azura gives the patrons their beers and I see her doing some small talk with them. She looks at me one moment with a chuckle and quickly finish the talk with the patrons and comes back here. "I don't know why I'm here. Me and my sister have always been very close but we've always had different ideas for life. When she told me she wanted to leave home, I couldn't even think of leaving her to go alone." I shrugged.
"That's really nice from you! Still, you should find a reason for staying in here. Your sister is old enough to do her own decisions alone, and you also need to be happy in life" she says. "Why did u open a tavern, Azura?" I asked while cleaning the tray. "The problem of being a Starfaded is that I have no memories of my past. I only remember the tavern and little Fluffy." the bat came flying down to us once it hear its name and claimed some pets from Azura. "I love this tavern and all the works from it, I love seeing people come and go as they need and people grow as adventurers in this tavern, just like you and your sister. I don't need anything else, I'm already as happy as I could". the bat chirped with happiness.
Sit down, my friend, and let me tell you of Aran'sha . A world where the sands shift and the stars sing, where the wind carries secrets and the twin moons keep silent vigil over it all.
