Channeler Dispersal

Dispersal, the renouncement of faith in the Channeler’s holy authority, spells death for the Channeler.
Rarely does a Channeler actually willingly sacrifice themselves to allow a new Channeler to be chosen. This can happen because a terminal illness is discovered, because of mental illness, or because of faith. More often than not, it is the fall of the last Paragon that marks the end for a Channeler.
