MORTAL - SEKJHEN - Fahleen

The Fahleen Marks

Indigenous to most climates, with variations from the nearly hairless Mercian Battlecat breed to the fluffy and somewhat portly Cryopathian Winterkits, the Feluhn are derivatives of felines. Some breeds have distended claws at the ends of their fingertips, while the majority have retractable ones. All are renowned for their uncanny sense of direction and balance, and among them, those fortunate enough to be chosen by Jubilethan clans are alleged to develop the ability to fall an unimaginable distance, and not only land on their feet, survive the descent! Though rarely individuals may observe the Orders of the Veils, the Feluhn all are deep meditating and spiritual beings. Most devote their downtime to meditation and study. The legend states, by tradition. Kiwayat, First of the Litter, was turned to stone while doing battle by the immortal enemy of the Feluhn, the Kahneen champion Spiken Malice. Thus, the Fahleen are known to stare unblinkingly at Nimbus or even bare rock in contemplation of this event. Fahleen is a common species, though individuals rarely become more than family bands or lone hunters, musicians, or on rare occasions rangers. Most have a natural affinity for, and a proclivity to become, burglars and thieves. In the furthest, most desolate or dangerous of climes, the Feluhn prefer an even more ancient name, calling themselves Farghul, a seeming reference to their distant and far more bestial relatives, now collectively called the Grohlim, or individually Grohl.
