Lyanthos Spring

The waters were unlike anything I've yet to see on this mortal realm. I felt it wash over me and the blood that was pouring from my scarred torso faded, the wounds closing up faster than even some divine healing could provide me. I bottled the waters and used them to ensure that I was protected should I need it for the next few days. After this time, the water seemed to turn to a dark mud and their properties no longer useful.
— An adventurer's encounter with the Spring.
The Lyanthos Spring is a natural spring known to appear throughout the Aonis Wilds every 47 years. The origin of the Spring remains mysterious, but its known increase the fertility of plants and fungus around it, as well as providing regenerative properties to those who bathe or consume it waters.

Description

The spring itself changes in design every time it appears to match the location around it. Some times the waters sprout from a set of rocks and carve a path for a few hundred feet, other times it becomes a tributary to a larger river in the Wilds. It can also appear as a small lake that snakes its way to the undergrove of a larger body of water.
No matter its appearance, one thing remains consistent, its turquoise hues that seem more vibrant than normal water from the region. There is an abundance of wild and plantlife that appears along the banks and waters of the Spring. Some rare plantlife and fungus that cannot be found otherwise is known to sprout for the few days that the Spring is active.
As quickly as it appears, it then fades, taking much of the enhanced life with it over the course of the next few days.

Origins

The origins of the Spring and widely contested as it has no foundation in either relgious or historical texts, just appearing some time during The Shatter.
Some theorise it was a ritualistic gift left upon the world to commemorate the death of a champion of The Natural Mother. Her champions known to be linked to places of nature, it is said that these were her tears for the 47 years that they gave in service as her champion, and heal people as she could not heal them before their passing.
Others believe that a mysterious Leyline Spirit creates the Spring as they pass through the Wilds. This would line up with the strange cycle of years, as the Leylines pattern is unpredictable and yet anchored somehow, leading to the various locations of a region over a consistent period.
The last theory is that the spring is the working of The Raven, then previous god of Life and Death, who attempted to help covet life on the planet leading up to his destruction. Some believe that the scattered appearance is because the Springs were created by a dying power as a final imprint on the plane. Instead of multiple creations, the spring instead appears in different places that could have contained eternal springs.

Properties

There are two key properties to the Lyanthos Springs, the first is prominent in the wild and plantlife around the spring's waters. The plantlife is abundant and grows types that are otherwise not seen in the Aonis Wilds. This has included the Ebonysand Flower and Shardenok, both of which grow in very different environemnts. Additionally, some moss only found in the depths of the oceas has been known to grow on the river's bed.
For Wildlife, there seems to be a property that increases fertility among the creatures. This has meant that pregnant creatures who drink the waters have found themselves giving birth to a higher number than their species usually produce, without any negative effects for the birthing creature. This also seems to apply to humanoids, as there are at least two tales of mothers drinking from the waters and giving birth to twins and triplets.
For humanoids, the most prominent property is the regenerative properties of the waters. One sip can help revitalize a person as if they have rested to full health. At least one instance has seen someone regrow a limb thanks to the waters. Flasks of the water turn to mud or gravel after the Spring has disappeared, making the waters powerful but scarce resource to find around the Wilds.

Congratulations on copper!   I really like the idea that bottles of the water turn to mud when the spring disappears. Means no one can really have a monopoly on the powers or anything.

Exactly! I had this spring with TTRPG players in mind! No monopolies here!
