Wavemakers

Wavemakers Corps is the first organization of the kingdom that could loosely qualify to be considered as an industrial factory. It was established 20 years ago by a scholar Tan Guei, who walked on the very thin line that is between a talented inventor and a crazy scientist, for pretty much his entire life. Nowadays it is a pinnacle of technological innovation which is very weird for the Inzu culture that is more art inclined in its endeavors than into the pursuits of machines.
Nowadays, the biggest innovation are the small lean submarines, nicknamed the River Dragons that is the crown jewel of this company. While many people have viewed such devices and experiments with fear, Wavemakers have been able to improve their reputation with the common people as their "crazy undewater cans" have been an instrumental help when searching for survivors when the floods came and destroyed many villages last spring. Still many people are vary of such experiments and from time to time a petition emerges to have them outlawed as their headquarters are prone to exploding now and then. It will probably never succeed because their invention are proving more useful then harmful, plus the Inzu people do love fireworks. And according to the words of the current president of this company, they do want to conquer the skies next.
They employ around 30 000 people in all of the kingdom and have many little adjacent factories in the biggest towns. Wherever they go, the business starts booming (sometimes quite literally) and while the society is still pretty much divided in opinion, there is an increasing number of people that proclaim that supporting such mechanically focused companies is important if the kingdom wants to flourish. And not get conquered again.
Although besides all the booming and submerging experiments, this company also made a lot of agricultural machines that are helping out with getting produce from the countryside.
