Mythoversal Thebes

 

Location

  Located in the Boeotian region of Hellas, the multicultural Mythoversal Kingdom of Thebes fiercely clings to independence while blending Palasgian traditions with the heritage of its Sidonian founders and citizens from across the known world.  

Political Leadership

  The Theban king and queen rule their territory with the assistance of a ministry of advisors including First Minister Creon and Trade Minister Antipoine.   Their center of government is a citadel within the Old City of Cadmeia which, along with the Uplands and Hypothebai precincts, makes up the unified City of Thebes.   A noble class consists of five Spartoi tribes, descendants of the five warriors who sprang from dragon's teeth when the city was first founded, pledging their loyalty to King Cadmus and his descendants.  

Settlements

  Outlying villages of various sizes are connected to the city of Thebes by a network of roads, and a countryside of farmland, pastures, and wilderness controlled by the Spartoi-descended Theban nobility. Among these are the Bronze Oikos Estate of Lord Creon of Tribe Echion.
