This must be complete before the sunrise, and I've got to get it just right! It'll only take a minute. Then, we can play!

The Ilogari people are a population that once called the eastern shores of Arsavela home, but only for a brief period in history.

Northern Hearts

Hailing from Ba'Logor in the northwest, these people settled in a far corner of Arsavela's Northlands for a long time before eastward expansion brought the Ilogai and the native Savelans together, at which point their cultures intermingled.

Contained Culture

This intermingled culture did not spread very far west, though the people who lived near the shores populated by the Ilogari took on many of their northern customs. As the worship of Kora, the Dawnbringer, was much more pronounced in the north, the Ilogari imparted on the native Savelans various rituals and and faithful patterns which venerated this Ascended goddess. Many of these rituals revolved around the witness of the sunrise, and separated different tasks of the day into those which should be done before, during, and after the sunrise of each day.   These people were early to rise, and early to sleep, often ending their work before most other people would even finish the first meal of their day. Though they came to adopt some of the native Savelans' customs, worshiping Levje and adopting more agricultural systems and practices, they did choose to leave their home in Arsavela, even after several generations took root in the region. Most returned home to Ba'Logor, though some did choose to remain, integrating themselves with the native Savelans they had befriended in residing among them.

Sunny Impact
Though the bulk of the Ilogari population left Arsavela long ago, the Savelan people in the far east of the region still observe many of the customs which the Ilogari brought with them, including the usage of certain words identifying the parts of each day based on the position of the sun, and continuing to base the timing of particular tasks on these sections of the day.
