Dru'kiin

Ignis Given Life

The Dru'kiin have a fury like wildfire and willpower to match. Inately gifted with a control over Ignis, the Dru'kiin wield it with an excellence. Bristling with scales, horns & thorned protrusions, the Dru'kiin are rather intimidating at first glance, but have a great deal of Empathy for other creatures. This empathetic streak often drives the Dru'kiin to act quickly & without thought to protect the wellbeing of those around them or to lessen the suffering of the things they encounter.

Distant, But Not Cold

The Dru'kiin prefer to live without any but their most cherished & beloved close by - a fact that many races attribute to a distant attitude. In actuality, the Dru'kiin isolate themselves out of a deeply ingrained survival instinct, driven away from concentrated living by their Empathy & a need for quiet contemplation.

Masters of Werking

While not extraordinarily strong or fast, the Dru'kiin have an immense capacity for willpower. This willpower makes them incredibly hard to kill through conventional means but also makes them extraordinarily capable magicians. Capable of summoning great firestorms from their own willpower, their werks are often not as refined as other races - but what they lack in complexity, they make up for in scale & concentration.
