The
Sh'areen Caliphate has a very strict application of its laws but tries to be fair. If someone retaliates against someone who has wronged them, the law is likely to convict them both rather than consider it justified. The
Protectors of the Sun act as the police enforcing these laws, but the local ruling noble houses are usually in charge of the judicial system. However, applying the laws too much in a way that's found upon by the Caliphate at large has serious consequences.

This section of the legal code mostly secures the positions of the nobles and their influence. But it also decrees in what ways the nobility must obey the central authorities. There are a few crimes described here, however.
