The goddess crystal

They talk of a hot crystal, coloured as lava. It could create lava pools wherever it went with the help of a ritual. Now, this crystal is lost with its rites, or is it? Some say it is not lost but stolen and that someone is using its power to destroy.

Summary

Time ago, a man was left to die near Axysk lake. The man, while walking around trying to find food, was found by Insertnameagain (the goddess crystal), the goddess of fire. Insertnameagain (the goddess crystal) gave him food and show him where he could find water and after taking care of him for some time, the goddess gave him her heart, a hot lava-coloured crystal, before disappearing. The man found the crystal on the floor, over a lava pound. He took it with extreme caution and promised to build a town near the lava lake with this crystal in the middle of it. All in the goddess name.

Historical Basis

There are records from when Halvor Lade, the man in the myth, was left to die after committed desertion, but there are no records of people living near the lake.
Researchers have investigated this myth for some time, mostly to find the god crystal as it is supposed to be able to create lava. They have discarded the possibility to be a god or even a Humans to be the one helping Halvor Lade and deduced that it might have been a Shoogan the one giving him food and showing him where there is water. It was deducing thought the draws Halvor Lade did about that part of his life. The draws about the goddess resemble a Shoogan. It was believed that the toxic gases that the lake emit gave him the illusion that the Shoogan may have been a god.

The goddess' crystal

The crystal was lost a couple of years before Halvor Lade could even start building Igburn. No one knows what happened and where it is now.
As Halvor Lade promised to put the crystal in the middle of the town to his followers, he found a similar crystal that used as a substitute and then created a law so no one could touch the crystal.
Not too long after that, Halvor's lie was discovered, but no one paid too much attention as the town started to be destroyed shortly after.

The goddess heart

The crystal that in the myth is supposed to be a heart is in truth a crystal a Shoogan tried to eat and could not eat it. The Shoogan was throwing up the crystal and the lava inside of its body after exiting the lava lake.

People believe that this crystal is the heart of Axysk lake and that the lake would disappear if the crystal is broken or taking away.

Some believe the crystal is the lake's heart. They also think that the crystal is not lost nor stolen, but back to the lake.
