Rusted shieldcraft

The rusted shieldcraft is a mecanism that materializes a shield which surrounds and protects the Rusted stars when an attack goes towards them. It seems to ocupate the whole room the stars are at except the middle, where the stars are floating in the air.

Most of its tecnology is hidden behind the walls of the Rusted tower, only showing parts of it through the window and the holes in its walls. What can be seen is a lot of gears all interconnected. On top of some of the gears, there are small crystals of different colours that would not have been seen if not for the light coming out the smallest rusted stars or because the shine they did when it was activated.

Once it is activated (it is unknown how it knows when to be activated), it makes loud sounds as the rusted gears start moving. The crystals are activated by some mechanism believed to be activated by the gears and these crystals created, out of thin air, metal pieces which, once they are finished, fly towards the stars and they merge to make a shield that surrounds completely the stars.

Once it is deactivated (when the danger has left, again, it is unknown how it knows when to stop), the gears slowly stop as well as the sound they make. Afterwards, the crystal stop shining and the metal pieces created by them slowly disintegrate, leaving the stars once again unprotected.

The description of how the Rusted shieldcraft works is a recopilation of what some of the Therik compasses saw the only day it was activated and thus it might not be fully acurate and is probably missing a lot of details and information, but the compasses have not attempted to attack the stars since the day they saw it activate.
