The Lord … forms the human spirit within a person.
ZECHARIAH 12:1 NIV
A human is a spirit and soul bound within a body so perfectly they are inseparable. A human’s body allows them to operate in the
NAPOX, whereas their spirit allows them to operate (see, act, feel) in the
SUPOX. For most humans, their spirit is either dead or desperately underdeveloped, like an emaciated infant. As it happens, maturity of a person’s spirit doesn't come automatically with age, but with intentional feeding and nourishment.

We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

A human’s spirit dies almost at the moment of birth. Like a flame without oxygen, when exposed to the suffocating sin-saturated NAPOX, it flickers and is extinguished, reduced to nothing more than smoldering potential.

A human’s soul is the breath of God, the life of God within a human. It is who they are, independent of the body and independent of the spirit.
