Chapter 8 HOW DO ANGELS AND DEMONS INTERACT WITH PEOPLE?

Angels and demons make themselves scarce in the NAPOX for entirely different reasons. Angels are well aware that every human being is precious to God and must, at all costs, be given a chance to be reconciled to him. How an angel might relate to a human is governed by this overarching objective, and highlights two substantial risks. The first is simply this - any human who meets an angel is awed to such an extent they almost universally fall headfirst into angel-worship. Their attention, their focus and their adoration swing sharply away from God whom they cannot see to the angel whom they have just seen. The bible is full of examples, even among the apostles themselves.
I, John, am the one who heard and saw all these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me. REVELATION 22:8 NLT

Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. COLOSSIANS 2:18 NIV
The second risk is similar but the opposite. If a human incorrectly comes to the conclusion that the work of God is the work of the devil, that human becomes dangerously irretrievable.
…the teachers of religious law who had arrived from Jerusalem said, “He [Jesus] is possessed by Satan, the prince of demons. That’s where he gets the power to cast out demons.” Jesus called them over and responded with an illustration. “How can Satan cast out Satan?” he asked. … “I tell you the truth, all sin and blasphemy can be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. This is a sin with eternal consequences.” MARK 3:20–23 & 28–29 NLT
Should a human perceive divine activity and come to the wrong conclusion, it will lead to harm not good. Especially in the presence of demons keenly watching for an opportunity to twist a human's perception of the truth. Accordingly, angels avoid interacting with humans in ways that would cause a person to become directly aware of them, even though their interactions are frequent. This is not a difficult task, as humans, being mostly blind, are quick to put divine interactions down to coincidence, luck, and good fortune.
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. HEBREWS 13:2 NIV

“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.” MATTHEW 18:10 NIV
Demons avoid making humans aware of them for an entirely different reason. Demons are hiding out in a territory not their own. Without Mankind giving them permission to dwell in the SUPOX enveloping the NAPOX, they would have to leave.   In Genesis 1:28 God gave this area over to Mankind’s authority. “Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” And when God cursed the devil he put him under this same area of Man’s authority. The devil was cursed as an animal, a creature under Mankind’s rule, and he was confined there in the dust for the remainder of his days.
…the Lord God said to the snake: “Because of what you have done, you will be the only animal to suffer this curse— For as long as you live, you will crawl on your stomach and eat dirt. You and this woman will hate each other; your descendants and hers will always be enemies. One of hers will strike you on the head, and you will strike him on the heel.” GENESIS 3:14-15 CEV
If the devil is to be credited with anything it is this: he is no quitter. For thousands of years, flying in the face of this curse, he never tired of dominating Mankind. For those watching, it looked like he was invulnerable.   Until Christ.   God declared that it would be Eve’s offspring that would crush his head. Indeed, by and through Christ reconnecting Mankind to God, that is now again possible.
“I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” LUKE 10:19 NIV
In the 20th century, the devil’s strategy changed to one of evading detection. They set about convincing humans not only that God did not exist, but that they too were only a figment of primitive man’s imagination. And as a strategy, it was pure genius. Once convinced demons were not there, people set about demonizing each other for the evils on earth. Evil of course, that was the devil's doing. Neighbor turned on neighbor, city on city, country on country. On the whole, this strategy delivered the devil a bumper harvest, an almost endless supply of unguarded souls for food.
They shall be wasted with hunger, Devoured by pestilence and bitter destruction; I will also send against them the teeth of beasts, With the poison of serpents of the dust. The sword shall destroy outside; There shall be terror within DEUTERONOMY 32:24-25 NKJV
The devil’s horde is a pestilence to Mankind. They are beasts that devour, and I am continually confronted by the many ways they can feed. In the global west, in my minds-eye, I see them feeding like worms in an orchid; there is a delay between the point in which the parasite enters the victim and the resulting rot becomes visible. A docile and compliant human is an easy meal, putting up little resistance as the fallen burrows in, consuming them from the inside out. Like the putrefaction caused by larvae within delicate fruit, it won’t stay undetected for long. Pus yellows beneath the skin, healthy hues give way to a dappled patchwork of disease, and eventually the filth within bursts the thin and mortal membrane that holds it back.
His strength is starved, And destruction is ready at his side. It devours patches of his skin; The firstborn of death devours his limbs. He is uprooted from the shelter of his tent, And they parade him before the king of terrors. JOB 18:12-14 NKJV
Cultivating a huge crop of suitable candidates has been one of the devil's crowning achievements. He might have achieved an equilibrium if it wasn’t for a consuming hatred of God that perpetually drives him to war, a war he cannot win.
The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. REVELATION 12:4-5 NIV
