The two-story structure boasts a timeless elven elegance; from its sloping roofs adorned with shimmers of golden moss to the ever-vibrant gardens that seem to sing of ancient tales.
To its left and right, vast studies stretch out, walls lined with centuries-old tomes, delicate artifacts, and pulsing arcane glyphs. The scent of old parchment mingles with the sweet aroma of blossoming elanor flowers from the gardens, making the air inside a fragrant testament to history and nature in harmony.
But it's not just the structure that captivates; it's the purpose. Once a symbol of familial prestige, the Sanctuary now rings with the harmonious chatters of both full-blooded elves and half-breeds. Purpose / Function

Sunbeam Sanctuary was established with a dual purpose: firstly, as a familial residence for Crono's ancestors and, over time, secondly as an inclusive educational institution. Here, elves, both full-blooded and half-breeds, converge in their quest for arcane wisdom, breaking past societal norms and biases.

Alterations

Over time, to accommodate its growing purpose, several alterations were made to Sunbeam Sanctuary. Most notably, the eastern wing was expanded to house an expansive library, and an observatory dome was added atop the western wing. Hidden chambers and basements were also integrated to serve as confidential meeting spots and storage for rare artifacts.

Architecture

The manor is a harmonious blend of classic elven elegance and practical design. Two large, diamond-paneled windows flank an ornately carved wooden door, capturing the dance of sunbeams at dawn and dusk. While the structure boasts two main stories, an impressive study extends on either side, laden with tall bookshelves, celestial globes, and intricate arcane diagrams.

Defenses

Beyond the natural deterrent of its isolation, Sunbeam Sanctuary is protected by a series of enchantments. Any unwelcome entity attempting to breach its boundaries faces a maze of illusionary walls and paths. Furthermore, the very stones of the manor are charmed to raise an alarm, audible only to its guardians, at the sign of any intrusions. A failsafe measure was later introduced that generates a special resonant barrier around the manor using a special tower mechanism generously donated by the Council of Cadence.

As the family grew more prominent in elven society, they observed the discrimination faced by half-breeds. Wanting to bridge this divide, the family transformed their home into an institution. Over generations, it became an esteemed center of learning where one's bloodline was overshadowed by their zeal for knowledge.
