Was told by the Spy that William's family were somehow to blame for Dag's She-devil mark that's plagued his life

Also told that the Gnome wasn't to be trusted and that her uncle is why all this unusual behavior is happening to begin with.

William:

Learned that his kidnappers were actually enemy nation spies via an emblem on their inside coat

After taking a bath, found the spy he was going to interrogate had his throat slit before William could return, with both Ellywick and Dags calling for a hasty retreat.

Ellywick:

Found the Soot HQ in Thornwood

Learned that her Uncle was being blamed for the Soots allegiance change, which lead to the organization being reformed into something far worse.

Was told that her uncle tasked the Soot Scholar with keeping Ellywick safe via use of tracking magic.

Ancient relic Ellywick had destroyed the Scholars appraisal crystal within seconds of appraising, something never before seen in the scholars line of work.

Learned of the secret passage between the Soots HQ and the Ambervein Inn
