Gods gleam is one of the most famous and sought after wines in the civilized world. Favored in Estoya, The Provinces of Mhirriah, and even Lartasia. Created by Anton Gray before House Gray was forced into exile and came to Estoya, gods gleam takes its name from the region where the Gray estate was located in in The Freehold of Cordais. Since coming to Eatalia, Anton and his descendants have improved and perfected the recipe. Using Estoyas complex soil, and grapes initially only found in Cordais, the family quickly gained a large fortune.
Gods Gleam is a red wine with unique fruity and spice flavors. The nutty fragrance coupled with a chocolate sweetness is what makes the wine so popular. The tannin offers a kick of dry to balance the sweet and that balance carries all the way to the finish. The most unique quality of the wine is its effects on the mind. Rather than the intoxicating effects of alcohol, Gods Gleam caused perceptive changes in any who drink it. Lines become more defined as the world appears crisp and clear to the drinker. The wine is a favorite among craftsman who consume it while they inspect their product to make mistakes easier to spot.
The recipe is magical in origin, and a heavily guarded secret. The Gray estate in Estoya serves as the vineyard for the rare concoction which takes three years to produce. The Grays rotate crops and vintages allowing them to produce close to 1000 casks a year.
