Escoria is one of the twelve semi-autonomous regions that make up the country of Tiresar. Escoria is located to the southwest of the country and contains Tiresar's capital city of Athevinel. Despite its political importance, it is the smallest region in terms of square miles.
Escoria has a generally mild climate, though temperatures often climb quite high for a few days each summer. Its rugged coastline is often considered the most beautiful in Tiresar.
