1: Use of your Support

All money gained through merchandise, twitch, or Patreon goes towards the production of Ethnis. This includes marketing, commissioned content, or compensation of the developers for paying for that out of pocket.

Money directly donated to the developers via Ko-Fi goes directly to them.

In the future, this model will shift to support the livelihood of the developers. At that time, a public announcement will be made in the discord and publicly via Patreon.

2: Contributed Work

All content explicitly contributed to Ethnis without a discussion of compensation beforehand is considered uncompensated fanwork. Narrative or artistic fanwork will be publicly displayed with full credit to the creator (name and a link to a personal site).

3: Ethnis Lite

Ethnis makes no claim over your intellectual property.

All non-Lite content remains your own to commercialize as you see fit. For standard use, Ethnis Lite is licensed under a CC Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License—you may use it and derivatives of it with credit, but may not monetize for it.

If you would like to commercialize content which uses Ethnis Lite, please reach out to us. We are excited to work with you to determine a mutually fair approach.
