Peter Llewelyn Michaels (a.k.a. Pan)
Peter Michaels, who some still call Pan, the boy who once refused to grow up, has found a curious paradox in Tír na nÓg—a place where he may finally grow up without ever aging, where eternal youth is not stagnant but ever-renewing. No longer bound to the rigid childhood of Neverland, Peter has adapted to this realm of thought and memory, his laughter echoing through the golden glades and silver rivers, still carrying the same irreverent joy, but now tempered with an awareness beyond childish delight.
Standing no taller than four and a half feet, Peter retains the agile grace of his younger self, though his features have sharpened, his limbs lean with the energy of one forever on the cusp of youthful strength. His hair, a tousled mess of sunlit golden-brown, seems to shift with the light, never quite tame, much like the boy himself. Though he has left behind the green-clad garments of his old world, he dresses in the manner of Tír na nÓg’s wandering spirits—woven tunics of deep forest hues, fastened with gleaming silver pins that catch the starlight.
In this land, Peter has become a traveler, a seeker of stories and hidden wonders. He no longer leads a band of Lost Boys, but instead drifts through the realms of Tír na nÓg, learning from its ageless inhabitants, playing tricks on those who take themselves too seriously, and dancing along the edges of reality itself. He has found a kindred spirit in Puck, the two engaging in endless games of wits and mischief, though Peter, in his youthful arrogance, is convinced he will one day out-trick the fae prankster.
Yet, even in Tír na nÓg, there are whispers of his old self. Sometimes, when the mists are thick, and the air hums with forgotten things, Peter’s shadow flits just beyond reach—untamed, mischievous, longing for something he cannot quite name. And when the night is still, he sometimes watches the stars, wondering if somewhere, beyond the edges of eternity, there remains a place where a boy once flew past the second star to the right and straight on till morning.
