For a decade, the darkness of depression following a brain injury had smothered my passion for writing. My pen had been idle for far too long, and my mind was a blank canvas. As I clawed my way out of the darkness, I found myself struggling to capture the words that had once flowed so effortlessly. I was met with a harsh reality - my writing was not what it had once been. The poetic, romantic prose that had once flowed from my pen had been replaced by a dry, technical style that felt like reading an encyclopedia. It was a constant battle to capture the beauty of words and the depth of emotions that had once come so easily to me. My struggles were acknowledged by a wise English professor who urged me to simply start writing again. And so, I did. I threw myself into the fiery pits of NaNoWriMo and came to the profound realization that my writing had merely evolved, not withered away. I sat down at the keyboard, ready to adapt to my new style and delve into the human condition, to examine the complexities of our society through the art of world-building. Eivrall is my personal mission to reignite my love for the written word. I dedicated two to three years to immersing myself in the creation of a world, a masterpiece crafted by my own hand.

I want to leave you with a lingering sense of unease, and a mind-bending realization, to make you ponder "What the hell?" and consider the consequences of our actions on the world we call home.

The characters may have their own beats and rhythms, but their steps must carefully tread the razor's edge of the larger forces that shape their world. This is a deliberate design, mirroring the harsh reality that in the game of life, our personal desires and aspirations may drive us, but ultimately, we are all pieces at the mercy of the machinations of society. To emphasize this point, the characters in my story are not gifted with the power to drastically alter the course of events. Instead, they must band together, make sacrifices, and work in unison to ensure the survival of their community and species. This emphasizes the significance of collaboration and cooperation in times of hardship.
The themes of trust and betrayal as Evelynn's concerns are initially dismissed by her colleagues and the government, and she must navigate a world where she cannot trust anyone and must rely on herself to uncover the truth.
The moral dilemma Evelynn faces when the PALADINs begin killing people and she must choose between upholding the law or fighting for what she believes in.
The government's manipulation and use of a powerful conglomerate, Crux Dynamico, for sinister purposes and the uncovering of this corruption by Evelynn.
The question of what it means to be human and the blurring of the lines between man and machine as the PALADINs exhibit concerning behaviors and the revelation that they are created by converting human life force into code.
The struggle for survival and the fight against an overpowered enemy as Evelynn is hunted by the PALADINs and must find a way to stop them and the government.
