Kingdom of Baragdum
The Kingdom of Baragdum, a large nation located in the heart of the Alithir Mountains, has had a long and storied history. The Kingdom is home to the Ullul and is well known for its impressive architecture. The Kingdom was founded over two thousand years ago by King Bogomir Georghiev, and its people still hold him in high regard to this day. For centuries, the kingdom was isolated from the rest of the world, cut off from all contact with outsiders. This changed when King Radomir Georghiev took the throne and decided to re-establish contact with the outside world. The Kingdom has since been working to modernize its infrastructure and economy while still preserving its unique culture and heritage.
History
King Bogomir Georghiev, the first of the Georghiev dynasty, established the Kingdom of Baragdum more than two thousand years ago. The Kingdom thrived for hundreds of years, and it was home to some of Eivrall's finest artisans and miners. The Ullul of Baragdum were also known for their skill in battle, and many a would-be conqueror found themselves outmatched by the Kingdom's forces. Approximately a thousand years ago, a powerful earthquake hit the Alithir Mountains, bringing an end to the Golden Age of the Kingdom. Ullian mines were severely damaged by the earthquake, and many citizens of the Kingdom lost their lives. In the centuries that followed, the Kingdom slowly began to decline. Over time, the Ullul became more and more reclusive as they adopted a policy of self-imposed isolation. The once-mighty army of the Kingdom was disbanded, and its people turned inward to repair their own homes and lives. In recent years, however, King Radomir Georghiev has decided to abandon isolationism and re-engage with the outside world. After a long period of isolation, the Ullul of Baragdum are slowly but surely rejoining the rest of the world's nations.

Government
Structure
The Kingdom's government is a constitutional monarchy with 6 political parties, the Georghiev family, the Chamber of Representatives, the Council of Advisors, the Magistrates, and the people of Baragdum.
Executive Body
The Council of Advisors writes laws and the Chamber of Representatives either approves them or vetoes them. If the Council of Advisors passes a law that is approved by the Chamber, the king has the final say. If the king vetoes a law that was written by the Council of Advisors and approved by the Chamber, the law is dead. The Council of Advisors may then either write a new law, or they may leave the matter alone and allow the king to govern according to his own will.
Legislative Body
When the king and the Council of Advisors make a law, the Chamber may veto it. If a simple majority in the Chamber feels that the law is unjust or would cause damage to the Kingdom, they may veto it and send it back to the Council of Advisors for modification or repeal. If the king and the Council of Advisors feel that a law is unjust or would cause damage to the Kingdom, they may veto it and send it back to the Chamber for modification or repeal.
Judicial Body
The Magistrates have the ultimate say in decision making, but if the king or the Council of Advisors disagree with their ruling, they have the opportunity to appeal it to the Chamber of Representatives. If the Chamber of Representatives agrees with the king or the Council of Advisors, then the Magistrates must reevaluate their ruling and send a revised decision back to the Chamber of Representatives. If the king or the Council of Advisors disagree with the revised ruling of the Magistrates, they may veto it, and may then either write a new law on the matter, or they may leave the matter alone and allow the Magistrates to govern according to their own will.
Public Agenda
The Kingdom of Baragdum seeks to improve the lives of the Kingdom's people, which includes constructing a library to hold the Kingdom's accumulated knowledge, and revitalizing their military force to protect the Kingdom's people.
Military
Baragdum's military consists of a rather sizable infantry force and a small cavalry force. The infantry is made up of three battalions of Ullian warriors, each with its own captain and lieutenant. The cavalry is made up of two squadrons of Ullian men for scouting and courier duty, and one squadron of Ullian women for reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, and sabotage. The Kingdom of Baragdum's military is currently disconnected from the other military forces in Eivrall. This is due to the kingdom's current efforts to rebuild and train its forces.

Economy
Agriculture & Industry
Following a lengthy period of global isolation, the Kingdom of Baragdum is currently rebuilding its economy. Due to the location of the kingdom, agriculture is not a significant contributor to its economy. Silver, which is mined from several locations beneath the Kingdom, is the only significant export of the country and it is the primary industry in the kingdom. The industry is currently being expanded to increase revenue. Baragdum is not currently a popular tourist destination. The Kingdom's government has been working to change this, but their efforts have not been very successful.
Trade & Transport
Baragdum's cities and mines are well connected to one another and to the rest of the country via an extensive network of roads. Unfortunately, the Kingdom's roads are not well maintained due to the Kingdom's lack of resources. Nayda, the capital, is located in the middle of the Alithir Mountains and serves as the economic center of the Kingdom. Trade in the Kingdom is regulated by the Kingdom's Chamber of Representatives. Due to the Kingdom's lack of resources and undeveloped agriculture, the Kingdom of Baragdum imports most of its goods from the other nations of Eivrall.
Technological Level
The Kingdom of Baragdum is in a state of semi-industrialization, with the majority of its people employed in industry or mining. The Kingdom's education system has recently been reformed to aid in the transition from the Kingdom's former isolationist policy to a globalized one. A network of roads connects the Kingdom's cities and mines to each other and to the Kingdom's borders. They are not well maintained due to the Kingdom's lack of resources.
Society
Culture
The Kingdom of Baragdum has a rich culture and history. The people of the Kingdom value their families highly, and they hold a deep commitment to their communities. The citizens of the Kingdom take great pride in their heritage; in fact, many of the customs and celebrations unique to the country have their roots in the Kingdom's past. The people of the Kingdom share a passion for music and the arts. Nayda, the capital of the Kingdom, is home to many exquisite sculptures and paintings that attest to the Ullian’s appreciation for the fine arts.
Education
The Kingdom's education system is currently being reformed. Education in the Kingdom of Baragdum was once focused on preparing its people to survive during the Kingdom's long period of isolation from the rest of the world. Independence and self-sufficiency were ingrained in the minds of the people of the Kingdom. In recent years, however, the government of the Kingdom has decided to abandon its isolationist stance and re-enter the international community. To better equip its citizens for this, the Kingdom's educational system has been overhauled to emphasize the kinds of information and abilities that are essential in a modern, interconnected world.
